Hampshire Hawks have named their squad for the inaugural Global Super League in Guyana.
The squad will be led by Chris Wood, Hampshire’s all-time leading wicket-taker, as James Vince is unavailable due to a prior commitment with the Abu Dhabi T10 tournament.
Wood steps up to captain the team, bringing a wealth of experience.
John Turner, meanwhile, will be on an England Lions’ tour of South Africa during the competition.

The tournament will be a debut for fast bowler Sonny Baker in a Hampshire shirt.
Batter Ali Orr is set to return to first XI action after recovering from a fracture sustained during the opening Vitality Blast match on May 30.
In a setback for the team, Scott Currie is unavailable due to a knee injury picked up while on international duty with Scotland.
However, Benny Howell will return to the squad following his recovery from injury.
The Hampshire Hawks’ squad for the Global Super League is as follows: Captain Chris Wood, Felix Organ, Toby Albert, Ali Orr, Sonny Baker, Tom Prest, Liam Dawson, Joe Weatherley, James Fuller, Brad Wheal, Benny Howell and Fletcha Middleton.
Two more players, who are not contracted to Hampshire, are set to be confirmed before the tournament starts.

The Hampshire Hawks have a busy schedule ahead in the Global Super League.
They will face the Rangpur Riders on Wednesday, November 27, at 7pm local time (11pm GMT) at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence.
Their second match will be against Lahore Qalanders on Saturday, November 30, at 10am local time (2pm GMT).
The team will then compete against Guyana Amazon Warriors on Sunday, December 1, at 7pm local time (11pm GMT).
The Hampshire Hawks will play their final group match against Victoria on Friday, December 6, at 7pm local time (11pm GMT).
The tournament will culminate in the final match between the first and second place teams on Saturday, December 7, at 7pm local time (11pm GMT).
As Hampshire gears up for this international challenge, all eyes will be on Wood and his team as they represent the county on a global stage.
