THE Utilita Bowl is set to host three England international cricket fixtures in 2025.
The matches will kickstart on June 10, with England Men's IT20 playing against the West Indies.
This is followed by England Women’s team squaring off with India for an ODI at the same venue on July 16. Wrapping up the iconic series will be England Men's ODI team taking on South Africa on September 7.
Fans can queue up for the much-coveted tickets from August 29. Given the immense popularity of these matches, tickets are predicted to be snapped up quickly.
For the first time since 2017, Utilita Bowl is welcoming sports enthusiasts to three international fixtures in a single year. This follows the announcement of a new allocation of prominent matches planned for the period 2025 to 2031.
Over this seven-year span, Utilita Bowl is slated to witness 35 days of international cricket with 19 fixtures, making it a prime spot in the sport.
It will also be hosting men's and women's Ashes Test Matches in 2027 and 2031 respectively. Recently, the venue’s record of sell-outs for two Vitality IT20s suggests that the fascination for cricket remains unquenched in the region.
David Mann, CEO at Utilita Bowl, said: "Utilita Bowl has become established as one of the country’s most popular international cricket stadiums for players and fans, and we have seen consistent support for England teams at the venue. We are excited to be hosting three marquee international matches next summer and look forward to welcoming capacity crowds at every game.
"With increased opportunity to host international fixtures at Utilita Bowl, we are continually striving to improve and enhance facilities at the venue, as well as for our people and communities. This is why we are embarking on an industry-leading environmental project, to make us one of the greenest sporting venues in the world."
