Some 56 young rugby players attended the first ever Romsey RFC rugby camp at Ganger Farm.
They were coached by some Springbok internationals - player turned BT Sport pundit Thinus Delport, the renowned scrumaging expert BJ Botha and Wasps RFC favourite Ashley Johnson.
Coaching team leader Andy Barlow enjoyed his first visit to Romsey, describing it as “a lovely club with exceptional facilities.”
The attendees thoroughly enjoyed the three day camp. Henry felt the coaching “was on another level”, whilst Josh said that he benefitted from the variety and expertise of the team. They all had to deal with the hottest day of the year as well as one of the wettest during their three days.
Everyone is now looking forward to 2025, when the camp will run again from August 11-13.
