Sparsholt's Southern Premier League Division 3 promotion prospects and T20 Cup dreams have taken a double blow.
They lost by 99 runs to lowly SPL3 rivals Paultos and then bowed out of the T20 Cup, beaten by 23 runs by Premier Division Havant.
Paul Longland (58) underpinned Paultons' 226-8 and then watched his teenage spin bowling son Liam (4-20) wreck Sparsholt's top order, including big hitting Aussie Joe Merlino for a third ball duck.
Tom Ley (38) and Tom Berzins (25) helped Sparsholt to 127 all out.
Havant's Perth-based Louis Clayton won the All Australian T20 showdown with Merlino, from New South Wales in the T20 quarter-final.
Clayton smacked 11 fours and a six in a season's best 81 not out - which formed almost half of Havant's 161-4, while Merlino hit 65 of Sparsholt's 161-8.
