TOM Flynn struck an unbeaten fifty as Hursley Park ended a nine-year wait to win the Winchester & District CA Tichborne Trophy with an emphatic seven-wicket win over Fair Oak at The Quarters.
Striking two sixes and eight fours, Flynn retired at the end of the 12th over with Hursley already well on course to overhaul an Oaks total of 128-7. Opening partner Kumo Sharma (32) was equally as aggressive.
Fair Oak captain Matt White carried his bat through the innings, making 32 not out, while Hursley's Australian all-rounder Paddy McNamara took 3-30 and teenager Jenson Bishop 2-20.
