AROUND 500 people competed in the NFU Mutual Winchester Triathlon.
Despite the rainy elements, triathletes, including plenty of first-timers, both young and old, completed their triathlon on Monday, May 6.
Jonathan Miller won with a time of 1:12:15. A total of 188 competed in the senior race, 73 in the novice and 149 in the kids' race.
Sponsored by NFU Mutual Winchester, Alton, and Wickham, the event showcased the spirit of community and athleticism with run clubs, Scout groups and swim teams volunteering to support the event.
Participants dived into the challenge, splashed through the swim, pedalled through the cycle, and dashed through the run, all while embodying the fun spirit.
From seasoned athletes to those dipping their toes into the world of triathlons for the first time, the event provided an inclusive platform for all to test their skills and celebrate personal achievements.
