EASTLEIGH have awarded Kelvin Davis a three-year contract to remain manager at Silverlake Stadium.
Assistant and former Saints teammate Danny Butterfield will also remain in his position as assistant boss.
The Spitfires finished 13th in the National League after ending an 11-game winless run with six victories in 13 matches under Davis, none of which were at home.
They staved off the threat of relegation by winning four successive matches on the road 1-0 before losing the last fixture of the season 3-0 at home to FC Halifax Town, who bowed out in the play-off eliminator.
Upon the deal being completed, Chairman Stewart Donald said: "We are delighted Kelvin and Danny have agreed to join us. Clearly, we have had a period working together and it clear that there is a huge desire from both Kelvin and Danny to bring success to Eastleigh.
"It represents the start of a new era for the club and we very much see this as a long term appointment. Kelvin has a clear vision of how we need to progress the football club and deliver long term success."
Eastleigh have confirmed that central defender George Langston, Nigel Atangana, Oscar Rutherford, and Enzio Boldewijn are among the names to be released following the expiration of their contracts.
National League top scorer Paul McCallum remains under contract with the club along with a host of important first-team players.
Bournemouth's Ben Greenwood and Saints duo Jake Vokins and teenager Will Merry will all return to their parent clubs following the end of their loan deals.
Players remaining under contract are Joe McDonnell, Malachi Dotse, Paul McCallum, Jake Taylor, Scott Quigley, Ludwig Francillette, Lee Hodson, Chris Maguire, Solomon Nwabuokei.
Players released: George Langston, Nigel Atangana, Aidan Barlow, Oscar Rutherford, Aaron Martin, Enzio Boldewijn, Kaya Tshaka, Ben Reeves, Luke Croll, Luka Chalwell, Brennan Camp, Ryan Clampin.
