THE squash courts at Romsey Sports Centre have been temporarily closed.
The Places Leisure team at Romsey Rapids Sports Complex closed the squash courts today (January 2) while a leak in the roof is repaired.
The rest of the facility, in Southampton Road, remains open but the leisure centre does not yet know when the courts will re-open.
One user hoping to book a squash court was told that it could be for a minimum of two weeks.
Ian Souch, general manager, said: "We can confirm that we have closed a small building situated next to Romsey Rapids Sports Complex. This houses the now-vacant Romsey Rugby Club clubhouse and two squash courts.
"Due to the adverse weather, we have experienced some slight water ingress into the old clubhouse. Over the next few days we are expecting contractors on site to resolve the issue. There is no disruption to Romsey Rapids Sports Complex, everything is running as usual."
