A PARENT helper at a Winchester wheelchair basketball club is appealing for more members.
Martyn Brisdion helps at the Hampshire Hornets Wheelchair Basketball Club, which meets at Kings' School.
He said: “Our inclusive sports club offers any child/young adult the opportunity to enjoy the thrills of wheelchair basketball and be part of the team.
“Whether a full or part-time wheelchair user, have reduced mobility, a learning disability or a child that simply wants to be part of a friendly and inclusive sports team, we are looking for new players to join the club.
“As a parent of a child who is thriving as part of this club, I'm only too aware of the positive impact this sport and the club can have on children.”
The club meets on Sunday mornings, 10am-12pm.
