AS THE Premier league’s giants get ready for battle in the FA Cup, Winchester’s teams are invited to a less glamorous contest.
Pitch to Win is urging amateur football clubs across Hampshire to enter the search for the UK’s worst football pitch.
Launched by Briggs & Stratton, a leading producer of petrol lawnmower engines, the winner can look forward to a £3000 pitch makeover.
The competition is open to any club with an under 18’s team, but entries must be in by March 28.
