A CASINO night at a Hampshire hostelry raised more than £800 for the Help for Heroes charity.
It was held at the John of Gaunt pub in Horsebridge near King's Somborne, which is run by Isabel White.
At the event, ticket holders were invited to play such games as blackjack and roulette with pretend money.
To keep hunger at bay, they also had a buffet with much of the fare supplied by Hampshire firms.
The casino night - hosted by Melanie and Martin Gillard earlier this month (January) - also featured a raffle.
