The Gentlemen series will arrive on Netflix very soon and takes place in the same world as Guy Ritchie's 2019 film of the same name.
The film followed Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) as he tried to sell off his cannabis empire, and whilst the series will take place in the same world, the Netflix show will follow a whole new set of characters.
Theo James will lead the cast as Eddie Horniman who inherits a large estate from his father but soon learns that the land has become part of Pearson's weed-growing business.
A synopsis in the Radio Times adds: "Moreover, a host of unsavoury characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation.
It's less than two weeks until Guy Ritchie's new show THE GENTLEMEN arrives into the world!

"Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game. However, as he gets sucked into the world of criminality, he begins to find a taste for it."
Ritchie has been involved with the development of the show since 2020, with the 55-year-old directing and co-writing the first episode.
Some big names will be featured throughout the series including Kaya Scodelario, Vinnie Jones, Peter Serafinowicz, Giancarlo Esposito and Ray Winstone.

The Gentlemen is set to release on Netflix on Thursday, March 7 with all eight episodes arriving on the same day.
