THE Eastleigh Festival of Music has announced its line-up for 2012.
It includes an eclectic mix of sounds that aims to deliver a lively and entertaining programme for all music lovers.
Lanterns on the Lake, Treetop Flyers, This is the Kit, Treacherous Orchestra, Alasdair Roberts and Moulettes will each take to the stage.
The festival is being held in two parts this year, with two evenings of music by established performers at The Point on Thursday, May 24 and Friday, May 25.
It will then be followed by upcoming local bands playing during the weekend of the Eastleigh Mela on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8.
Headlining the first night of the professional programme on Thursday, May 24, is indie-folk favourites Lanterns on the Lake.
Support will come from rootsy-rock-tinged London five-piece Treetop Flyers and This is the Kit alias Winchester-raised and now Paris-based Kate Stables.
Treacherous Orchestra will headline on Friday, May 25 with support coming from Scottish singer-songwriter Alasdair Roberts and string and wind band Moulettes.
Performances start from 7.30pm on May 24 and 7pm on May 25. Tickets are £16 per night or £30 for both.
