THE one-day Oxjam Winchester Takeover is due to take place on Saturday, October 22.
Several acts have been confirmed for the fund-raising event and four venues across the city will be taking part.
And one ticket, or more accurately a wristband, will get you into all four of them.
The venues include Winchester Discovery Centre in Jewry Street with entertainment from 5 to 9pm.
Doors will also be open at the Forte Tea Rooms in Parchment Street from 7.30 to 11pm.
The Slug and Lettuce in The Square will also be getting in on the act between 7.30pm and midnight.
And last, but certainly not least, the Plain and Fancy cocktail bar in Jewry Street will be taking part from 4pm to 2am.
Acts already confirmed include Caretaker, The Waggonband, Zimbo Hook, Folkosaururus, Grenades, The Winona Ryders and Fly Away Peter.
Several more bands and DJs along with solo musicians and comedians will also be joining the fun.
The newly opened Shakeaway milkshake parlour in Middle Brook Street is also getting involved.
It has concocted a new variety - Crème Egg and Malteser Oxjam – especially for the event.
And for those seeking more substantial sustenance, Sri Lankan Cuisine from Chandler’s Ford will have a stall outside the Discovery Centre.
Wristbands for Oxjam Winchester Takeover cost £8 on the door, and for more details visit www.oxjamwinchestertakeover.co.uk.
