IT was a pipe dream for this Winchester woman.
After working as a veterinary nurse in Hursley for 15 years Hannah Lewis decided it was time for a complete career change.
Hoping to plug a gap in the market the 36-year-old enrolled on a plumbing course and is now thought to be Winchester's only female plumber.
Hannah, known as Plumbingbird, of St Cross, who qualified four months ago, said: "I got bored of being a vetenary nurse after 15 years. I just wanted to do something else and my partner suggested I try plumbing. I thought he was mad at first but I looked into it and signed up for a course.
"It took 40 weeks of theory based work and college and a six month placement. But it's given me a lot of job satisfaction and I'm glad I made the move."
