IT'S a controversial subject with a high profile.
And now Wintonians will get a chance to learn more about it with a special evening in the city this Wednesday (January 27).
Assisted dying will be the topic of a lecture by Lord Raymond Plant - a former professor of jurisprudence at King's College, London, and a lay canon at Winchester Cathedral.
A spokesman for the cathedral said it would include contributions from the Bishop of Winchester and an opportunity for discussion.
It's taking place at Prior's Hall, The Deanery, Inner Close, at 7pm.
