POLICE have identified the cyclist who died after a collision near Winchester earlier this month.
At around 2.30pm on June 8, David Davenport was riding a pedal cycle along Woodman Lane, Sparsholt.
He was involved in a collision with a blue Mini Cooper at the crossroads with Sarum Road.
Mr Davenport, 59, of Archers Road in Eastleigh, was taken to Southampton General Hospital but died on June 16 as a result of his injuries.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "If you saw what happened please call us on 101 or report online quoting reference number 44210223675.
"Alternatively, you can phone Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111."
