PLANNERS have put a decision on whether a factory can be built on a farming site near Alresford on ice.
TSL Technology and William Wheatley submitted the scheme, which was due to come before Winchester City Council's planning committee on Thursday, January 7.
Planning officers had already viewed the blueprints for the new building at Ropley Business Park at The Dene and advised that it should be refused.
Bishop's Sutton and Ropley Parish Councils along with East Hampshire District Council also objected. Their concerns included creating a new building in the countryside, and traffic at the nearby junction with the A31.
Winchester councillors were due to decide the matter, but like their full council meeting that was scheduled the previous evening, it fell foul of the snow.
A rearranged date for the planning meeting is yet to be set.
