IT was a case of 'hair today, gone tomorrow' as Rosanna Sutcliffe had 12 inches of her flowing locks cut off for charity.
She went from having long hair to a neck-length bob after stylists at Hair Art in Alresford put their scissors through their paces.
Her visit to the salon in East Street was designed to help two different charities. Firstly, the hair from the sponsored cut will be used to make wigs for children who are fighting cancer.
Secondly, she hopes to raise some money ahead of a trip to India. She will be volunteering there in summer 2010 as part of her student gap year and will be helping out at a school.
