CONSERVATIVE leader, David Cameron, is heading for Romsey.
Mr Cameron will be in town next Friday (February 5) as part of the Cameron Direct tour of Britain. He’s inviting residents in the Romsey & Southampton North constituency to quiz him about issues they are worried about.
The all-ticket evening starts at 5.30pm. Tickets are free and must be obtained in advance from the Romsey & Southampton North constituency office.
Caroline Nokes, Conservative parliamentary candidate for Romsey & Southampton North, said: “It’s a great opportunity for everyone – of any political persuasion – to come along and raise their issues, questions and concerns with him.”
She added: “Across the country, there are obviously real concerns over issues such as the cost of living, including the pressure on homeowners and the pressure on small shops and businesses, and all these issues can be raised. But it is the members of the public who set the agenda for the evening . Whatever the question, issue or concern, it will be answered.”
To get a ticket, e-mail camerondirect@ romseyconservatives.co.uk. The venue for the event has yet to be disclosed.
