NEARLY 70 homes at Mottisfont were left without power when a fallen tree branch cut supplies on Monday morning.
Engineers were called to the village's Hatt Hill district shortly after 10.45am following reports of power loss. A tree branch was found lodged across the wires and engineers had to remove it before supplies could be restored. A Southern Electric spokesman said a circuit breaker had been triggered as a result of the branch landing on the cables. Power came back on at about 12.44am.
