A COWARDLY teenager toyed with a hamster before throwing it against a wall and killing it, a court has heard.
Harry Clay, a student at Sparsholt College near Winchester, was given a 12-month supervision order after being found guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court.
The 19-year-old played catch with the dwarf hamster – called Podge – before hurling into a wall on the college campus.
