WINCHESTER's Tower Street car park has re-opened to customers following the completion of most of the refurbishment.
From Saturday (May30), both floors of the car park have reverted to pay and display and the temporary weekday restrictions have been lifted.
Continuing street works mean that the Sussex Street entrance and exit are still closed, but both floors are accessible via Tower Street.
Further improvements will include new lighting, completion of wall coatings, new signs, and artwork.
A new system of symbols to indicate parking areas will also replace the previous numbered system; with the symbols designed to represent each of Winchester's most treasured landmarks.
