DETECTIVES want to speak to this man about an attempted robbery in the Meon Valley.
He is one of two suspects who tried to steal an MP3 player from a man as he jogged along a disused railway track in Wickham last Friday (May 22), between 1.15 and 1.40pm. The 30-year-old victim refused to hand over the device and escaped along a side path.
One suspect is described as a well-built white man, around 30, with a round face and ginger or brown coloured hair. He was wearing a plain green or brown short-sleeved t-shirt.
His accomplice is a slimly built white man of a similar age, with black or dark brown untidy hair. He was wearing a black or dark blue t-shirt.
Det Sgt Chris Buse said: “I would ask that members of the public look closely at this e-fit and if they recognise the suspect, they should contact police immediately.”
Anyone with any information regarding this incident should contact North Walls CID on 0845 045 45 45 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
