YOUNGSTERS at a Winchester club have enjoyed a brush with the law.
St Cross Youth Group spent an evening learning about the police, which included a visit from Warren Carne, a community officer.
PCO Carne, based at Twyford, answered youngsters' questions before showing them around a police car and explaining what equipment he wears.
"We all learnt a lot," said Ben Hogbin, of St Cross Youth Group, said: "It was a great opportunity for the young people to get to know their local police officer, and understand how the police benefit the local community."
The group holds weekly sessions at St Faith's Church Hall, St Cross, for children aged up to 16 on Thursday nights, 7.30 - 9pm. Contact Mr Hogbin on 07909694564 or stcross@hotmail.co.uk.
