AN estate agent has been appointed a director at the age of 27 at Belgarum in Winchester.
Alex Lambourne has already spent nearly a decade in the industry, and joined the independent agent in the High Street in 2003.
MD, John Leeson, has now recognised his hard work and loyalty with promotion.
“Alex has been here almost as long as I have, and he’s been instrumental in terms of growing the business,” he said.
“One area in particular is lettings, which has become much bigger in the last two to three years.”
Alex, who was previously a negotiator, is now the second-most senior of the firm’s employees.
Belgarum began trading in 1989, and Alex, who lives in Winchester, said he is looking forward to his role in taking the firm further.
“I’ll be taking on more responsibility when it comes to human resources and finance and, as the name of the role suggests, the direction of the business.
“I’m really excited to be taking this on.”
