A WINCHESTER teenager will take to the skies with an army parachuting team this month to raise £500 for charity.
Alex Sewell, a pupil at Peter Symonds College, will do a 10,000ft tandem skydive over Wiltshire with the Red Devils in aid of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Alex, 17, from Twyford, said: "It's something I've never done before but I'm really looking forward to the experience of freefalling from 10,000ft at 120mph.
"I've already paid for the jump so any sponsorship I receive now will go directly to the charity.
"This charity has helped a family friend who is currently battling the disease, so please help this worthy cause by sponsoring me."
