POLICE have sent out a warning after potentially dangerous items were stolen from a Test Valley paintball centre.
A total of 20 paintball guns, 2,200 paintballs, 39 explosive "maroons", 20 "flashbang" grenades and 15 smoke grenades were stolen during a raid on Friday night.
Officers say some of the explosive devices could cause "serious injury" and have warned residents in the Test Valley to be on their guard.
PC Bill Williams, from the Rural Safer Neighbourhoods, said: "Some of the stolen items are very dangerous if not operated correctly; we are concerned that these items could cause a serious injury if they fall into the wrong hands. The explosive maroons can be particularly dangerous if they are activated."
The theft happened at a paintball site in Harewood Forest near Andover overnight on May 8. Call police on 0845 0454545.
