TWO drivers have been taken to hospital after a collision on a busy Hampshire commuter route during rush hour this morning.
The accident happened after a British Gas van and a car collided on the A34 dual carriageway north of the M3 at junction 9 Winnall just after 8pm.
The drivers of the two vehicles were not seriously injured and have been taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
Firefighters from Winchester attended the accident to help cut the injured people out of their vehicles. An ambulance and rapid response vehicle also attended the scene which is currently being cleared.
