POLICE are trying to trace a vulnerable Winchester man who was last seen four days ago.
Barry Trueman, 60, of Worthy Lane, Winchester, was last seen on Thursday (April 16) and was reported missing to police on yesterday (April 19) afternoon.
Sgt Stuart Jackson, of Hampshire Police, said: “A number of enquiries have been carried out since Mr Trueman was reported missing. These include searches of the local area, contacting friends and checking local hospitals.
“We are growing increasingly concerned for Mr Trueman’s welfare. I would appeal to anyone who believes they may have seen Mr Trueman to contact the police as soon as possible.
“I would also appeal to Mr Trueman to make contact with the police and let us know that he is okay. All he needs to do is pick up the phone and contact the police wherever he may be, so that we can be sure he is safe.”
Anyone with any information should contact the duty sergeant at Winchester’s North Walls police station on 0845 045 45 45.
