WALKERS are being asked to brush the mud off their boots for the annual Winchester Walk organised by the city’s Rotary Club.
It will take place on Sunday, May 3, and aims to raise money for the charity, Hope and Homes for Children. It supports disadvantaged youngsters in Central and Eastern Europe.
There is a choice of walks of one, five, 10 and 20 miles around the city and out into the Hampshire countryside.
All walks begin and end at Abbey Gardens in The Broadway, Winchester, from 7.30am onwards depending on the distance people chose to walk.
Event organiser and Rotarian, Gavin Blackman, said: “This is a chance for people of all ages and abilities to get some exercise, enjoy the beautiful Hampshire countryside and raise funds for a worthwhile charity and we are hoping as many people as possible will join in the fun.”
To register for the walk visit www.winchesterwalk.co.uk or call 01962 712632.
