AN after-school group in Romsey has been judged “outstanding” in an Ofsted inspection.
Halterworth Kids Club was handed top marks in all 14 categories when it was assessed by inspectors last month.
And staff at the Montfort Hall-based facility have told of their delight at the result.
Manager, Kate Ward, said: “We are all really, really pleased.
“Obviously, all the staff work extremely hard to provide quality care for the children and I think this Ofsted report is well deserved.”
The school provides early years learning as well as after school facilities for five to 11.
Inspectors wrote in the report: “Children are extremely happy and they show a clear sense of ownership and belonging where the overall atmosphere is one of fun, laughter and vibrancy.
Staff value what children say and do and children of all ages and abilities play together collaboratively.”
