An elderly people’s home run by Hampshire County Council will officially reopen after a £1million makeover.
Bishop’s Waltham House, in Free Street, now has 36 refurbished bedrooms with a new entrance area, call system, replacement double glazed windows, new curtains and blinds and new lounge areas on the first and second floors.
As well as the internal refurbishment, a garden has been created with outside seating provided for residents and their families.
The official reopening will take place later this month.
