Before the sun is over the yardarm, giving Blogsbody cause not to be back to FreddieBBC as promised - before noon on St  Patrick’s Day - a seven-strong cast for the presenter's planned piece shapes up to include Kay, a middle-aged art student, as official photographer to Blogsbody’s Continuing Story of Cressroads featured on the Hampshire Chronicle website as well as www.blogsbody.co.uk.

Next is the General Dogsbloggy to Blogsbody, retired stockman Henry Primmer, rural cricket as well as darts legend, whose countless games and matches over the past half-century give him the key to pubs providing a source for mining many a story lead.

As does headquartering the blog at the Tichborne Arms, where landlady Nicky Roper facilitates so much for Blogsbody. Massaging his aching back. And through sharing her Who’sWho of friends, acquaintances and contacts throughout Cressroads and beyond.

Ex-BBC staffer Simon May’s Prizebyte of an IT company moderates the website for Blogsbody’s Continuing Story of Cressroads; and Ruby Rangoon, whose day job is managing Avington’s Pinder Centre - a registered charity for providing hydrotherapy as well as physiotherapy - is the blog’s agony aunt.

Three items take FreddieBBC and hiscameraman out and about Cressroads to Blogsbody’s Word Factory, Tichborne Arms and Alresford’s famed Broad Street, where Cllr Ernie Jeffs claims his role in the soap’s developing cast of hundreds.

Scene 1ne spotlights Henry Dogsbloggy and sees bereaved Ovington churchwarden Trevor-the-Wid witness Blogsbody shake the hand of his sidekick, a retired Tichborne stockman, to pledge one to the other that, whoever dies first, the other delivers the promise of a budget wicker basket and bier for a woodland burial.

Scene 2wo introduces Cllr Ernie Jeffs, after two plainclothes constables post an information wanted notice on the most dangerous lamppost in Broad Street - incident-plagued blackspot at the intersection with West Street and scene of notable near misses - that may come to require a second notice.

One warning pedestrians crossing from pharmacy-to-pub or back again to beware of distractions to the concentration their lives depend on.

As Cllr Jeffs notes: “The poster on the lamppost warns only of the possibility of burglars at large in the area. Ask yourself what else is new in this credit-crunched country of ours? But don’t put your life at risk doing it at the top of our Broad Street.”

Scene 3hree finds Agony Aunt Ruby Rangoon advising in the blog’s ongoing Case of Stephen-v-Blogsbody:”Mike or Michael! What a formal approach. No warmth there, but obviously the need to explore further.

'Tell me your hesitation? This was also apparent within Stephen’s e-mail. Is he after anything more than a way into a family he is/wishes/thinks he’s part of? Does he need to feel more a part of it all?

'More importantly, what is your soul telling you about this? If you feel it is an honest request to get closer to the father he did not know, then ball is yours. Whatever happens, seems you need to meet him for a further chat.’  This final item, telling how Bodyparts Reunited puts Blogsbody’s first son by the first of his three wives in touch with the father he never knew, delivers the cliffhanger for FreddieBBC's follow up.
