A man who was jailed for sexually assaulting seven women has had another count added to his list after the judge made an "error" in omitting it from the sentencing.
Jason Colbourne, 55, was jailed last month for more than three years after being found guilty of eight counts of sexual assault by touching.
Today, Tuesday December 3, at Winchester Crown Court The Recorder of Winchester Judge Angela Morris explained that the prison time for the extra count of sexual assault – a two-year sentence – will be served concurrently, meaning Colbourne will not have any more jail time.
Judge Morris said: "There is a sentence of two years imprisonment, concurrent to [the other counts]."
She added: "It was never my intention to increase the sentence. Everything was reflected in count one. Count ten is now in the sentencing remarks as well.
"That was an error on my part that just needed to be rectified."
Colbourne, of High Street, Stockbridge, was not present for the hearing.
