PEOPLE gathered to sing carols in the candlelight at a Winchester city hotel for a good cause.
The Winchester Royal Hotel held a carols event in its garden on Monday, November 25.
Guests were treated to mulled wine, hot chocolate, and mince pies while listening to a performance from Winchester A Cappella, directed by Oliver Squibb.
Donations made on the night went to Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospice, a children's hospice in Sutton Scotney.
Lynda Crook, senior fundraiser at Naomi House and Jacksplace, said: “What a special way to kick off the festive period! It was such a lovely evening of beautiful carol singing in a gorgeous setting.
"We are delighted to be partnering with The Winchester Royal Hotel and thank the fabulous team and their clientele so much for their kindness in supporting our hospices over mulled wine, hot chocolate, mince pies and the harmonies of the awesome ladies a cappella chorus!”
