Romsey Flower Club's chairman has received a prestigious honour.
Maureen Lawes has been awarded the title of Area Associate of Honour by the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).
This accolade recognises exemplary work at the area level and is considered one of the highest awards given by the organisation.
Mrs Lawes, a qualified NAFAS judge, has a long history of service in the field.

Winchester Cathedral Flower Festival and organiser of floral competitions at the Romsey Show for many years.
Her roles have included being a judge's representative, an administrator for theMembers of the Romsey Flower Club expressed their delight at Mrs Lawes' recognition, acknowledging her dedication and contribution to the floral community.
The award was presented by the Wessex and Jersey Area chairman, Pip Bensley, at the recent area annual general meeting.
The Romsey Flower Club offers regular meetings, workshops, and the opportunity to participate in shows and competitions.
