A WINCHESTER-BASED company is pushing the boundaries of electric bike cycling worldwide with its innovative products.
Cytronex, who design and make their products in the UK, make electric bike systems, as well as other innovations, to improve cycling.
The company was founded in 2008 and released the first iteration of its industry-leading, award-winning, C1 disguised electric bicycle system that year.

Operations manager Samantha Price said: "This will allow you to have as much power as you want. It'll make you feel like you've got more powerful legs!"
"It's smooth, silent and lightweight. It only adds 3.6kg to the bike. A typical electric bike is around 25-30kg, [but] these are about 8-10kg lighter."
Samantha has been with the company from the start and uses Cytronex's products herself. A keen cyclist, she said: "It literally changes people's lives, customers have told me that."
She told The Chronicle that conversion kits like Cytronex's are a cheaper, lighter, alternative to regular e-bikes and help people with a 'boost' whilst cycling.

In her case, she said, it means she can keep up with her 'fitter friends', but pro-cyclists using their kit can tell exactly how much power they are using.
The company's innovation was in creating a bottle-like battery that fits in where your bottle-holder would on any regular bike.
The reason for the design, pioneered by founder and inventor Mark Searles, was Sam said: "It looks more natural! Plus it's the best place to put the extra weight."
