A MAN has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries that took place throughout Hampshire.
Police arrested the 25-year-old man from Surrey on suspicion of burglary. Officers arrested him in Surrey and a large amount of cash, as well as some jewellery, was also seized.
He remains in police custody at the current time.
The series being investigated by officers relates to reported incidents in Winchester, Eastleigh, Southampton, Chandler’s Ford, Chilworth and Basingstoke, between Saturday March 2 and Saturday April 20.
On each occasion residential properties were targeted and high-value jewellery was taken. The police investigation is ongoing.
