HUNDREDS of people came out to kick off the Christmas season in Romsey this weekend.
The festivities began on Saturday, November 16 with the return of the Winter Carnival and Lantern Parade.
Hundreds of people took to the streets to enjoy the event.

READ MORE:It is being followed by a number of different Christmas events in the run-up to the big day, with the Christmas Lights being switched on Saturday, November 23, from 5pm to 8pm.
The Romsey Lights Switch-On will take centre stage with the lights officially illuminated at 6pm, followed by live music from Beggars Fair, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year.
