More than £11,000 was raised thanks to a comedy night hosted by hospices based in Sutton Scotney.
Naomi House & Jacksplace, which are hospices for children and young adults, organised the event at Theatre Royal Winchester, where they welcomed comedians Paul McCaffrey, Joe Wilkinson, Andy Askins and Fiona Ridgewell.
The event was a success with attendees in fits of laughter. There was also a raffle during the interval, raising additional funds for the charity.
Lucky attendees had the chance to win signed posters of the event.

All performers volunteered their time to the cause, and proceeds from ticket sales, after covering costs, went towards the critical work of the hospices.
The funds raised at this event could cover 480 hours of expert nursing care.
Winchester's own comedy icon, Paul McCaffrey, hosted the evening.
The award-winning comedian, TV personality, and podcast co-host said: "It was such an honour to host this event for the second year running and what a night.
"Four fantastic acts who all gave their time for the cause (I’m very lucky to know such kind, talented people), a fantastic crowd and a wonderful venue. It really couldn’t have gone any better.
"As a Winchester resident, I’ve been aware of the amazing work that Naomi House & Jacksplace do for a while and I’m so happy to be able to do a little bit to help that continue. See you all next year."

"It was a fantastic night of entertainment. We look forward to seeing you all again next year with another exciting line-up of hilarious comedians."
