A MAN has been banned from the road for driving under the influence of drugs in Winchester.
Luke Kingsbury, 34, of Quiet Close, Chichester, drove a car in Bar End Road while under the influence of THC, the main active ingredient of cannabis, on Saturday, May 4, a court heard.

Kingsbury underwent a blood test, returning a result of 17.5 microgrammes of THC per litre of blood, exceeding the limit of 2 microgrammes of THC per litre of blood.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 12, Kingsbury pleaded guilty.
He has been banned from driving for 12 months. He must also pay a £180 fine and £85 costs. The court record did not state when the total amount of £265 must be paid.
