A contemporary art open weekend will take place in Broughton.

The event, at The Paddock, Rookery Lane, runs from Friday, November 29 to Saturday, December 1, featuring artwork from Hampshire artists and more.

The exhibition, headed up by Rachel Bebb contemporary, will showcase a range of pieces, including sculptures, ceramics, engraved glass, wood engravings and woodcuts, original prints, letter carving and photography.

Notably, Winchester-based glass engraver Tracey Sheppard will be displaying her work.

Tracey has previously crafted the engraved glass screen for the entrance to Hyde Abbey Garden, panels for the Epiphany Chapel in Winchester Cathedral, and entrance doors for St Lawrence Church.

Twyford-based Nadine Collinson will also be presenting her bronze sculptures.

The open weekend promises a celebration of contemporary art, with the added festive touch of mulled wine and mince pies for attendees.

Opening times are Friday and Saturday from 11am to 4pm, and Sunday from 11am to 2pm.
