Considering the ups and downs of the retail sector, it is excellent news that yet another food-focused business has opened its doors to the public.
The new shop selling fresh fruit, vegetables and meat is to say the least a welcome addition to Winchester's thriving High Street.
Westlands Farm Shop employs a good number of people which can only be good news.
Together with the recently opened Cornish Bakery, it will attract more people to shop locally.
All good news for Winchester and the area.
