THOUSANDS of people came out in force to enjoy the fireworks in Winchester.
The event, held by Winchester Roundtable, started in the High Street, with a massive torchlight procession which made its way through the city centre.
The procession eventually arrived at North Walls Recreation Ground, where the bonfire was lit by the Mayor of Winchester, Cllr Russell Gordon-Smith, before the display began.
