The Hampshire Chronicle is publishing on Thursday November 7 a special supplement featuring photographs of primary school reception classes across the area.
The pictures show the children in their first term at school, making new friends and on a journey of discovery about the world.
It will be a poignant memento to treasure down the years as the children grow older and become parents themselves.
The schools featured are: Harestock, Weeke, Oliver's Battery, Princes Mead, Cheriton, Ropley, Sparsholt, West Meon, Meonstoke and St John the Baptist in Waltham Chase; Romsey, Romsey Abbey, Wellow, Lockerley, Halterworth (both classes), King Edward VI prep, Braishfield and Stockbridge.
The Chronicle is on sale in shops across the district, priced £1.60.
The photos will also be in the Romsey Advertiser out on Friday, November 8 price £1.20.
