Kingsgate Lawn Tennis Club, situated in Winchester, runs an amazing class each Saturday at 10:00 to 11:00am for 4-11 year olds.
It is run by Head Coach, David Woodford, who works to inspire young children to develop a love for tennis.
The children are filled with joy and excitement, playing their favourite tennis games with their friends.
The class is a valued aspect of the Kingsgate community, for not only does it foster an enthusiasm for tennis with young players, but also includes teenage members of Kingsgate who learn valuables teaching skills and ensure the children have a great time every Saturday.
Megan Wright who’s in year 11 and teaching in the Saturday morning class said: “I love meeting and having fun with the children whilst spending my Saturdays outside and active, also I think I have gained leadership skills such as communication and confidence.”
David Woodford’s Saturday lesson ties the Kingsgate community together and is a wonderful class to take part in.
