A WEEK ago, the Winchester Christmas market was just piles of wood and electricals ready to be set up and turned into cabins for the upcoming launch in November.

Now, it has taken proper shape, with cabins already built in various parts of the Inner Close.

The market will be opening on November 22 and will be here until December 22 for a month-long of festive shopping and food.

The market has been annually held on the Cathedral grounds since 2006 and has seen success over the years.
