A PERSON has been arrested following several bike thefts from the Bar End area.
The arrest was made on Tuesday, October 29.

Officers from the Winchester City Neighbourhood Policing team conducted CCTV enquiries and were able to get footage of a suspect.
The team then carried out proactive patrols around the city where one officer spotted the same suspect by the bike shelter from where bikes had been stolen.
The suspect was stopped and searched and was arrested for going equipped for theft and a number of bike thefts.
The Chronicle has contacted the police for an update on the arrested man.
