A WINCHESTER man has been fined for shoplifting almost £200 worth of items across a three-week period.
Andrew Bowes, 59, of The Valley, Stanmore, stole a bottle of wine worth £11.50 from Tesco in Winchester High Street on Wednesday, October 2, a court heard.

More than two weeks later, on Sunday, October 19, Bowes then stole £168.88 worth of items from HMV in the Brooks Centre.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 21, Bowes pleaded guilty to shoplifting.
He must pay £11.50 compensation, alongside a £40 fine.
